The Mid-Year Agency Assessment Season – whew!

We’ve just finished the last major agency assessment project for this year’s mid-term agency reviews.

This busy period saw us develop surveys to capture perceptions of agency performance reaching tens of thousands of agency and client-side advertising executives located all around the world.

Of course, the number and scale of these assignments has provided us with plenty of learnings about how we can improve processes and technologies and generated many great ideas which will deliver more value for our clients and their agencies at their next review.

We’ll get busy applying those learnings and ideas as we prepare for the end-of-year assessment period.

London Calling

Decideware Director, Derek Groom will relocate to our London office in October ’09 to head the effort to provide more services to our UK/EU and global clients.

Originally from the UK, Derek reckons he’s had enough of beautiful Sydney winters and wants to once again enjoy months of rain and sleet during an English summer.

With Decideware’s client base increasingly seeking global support for supplier / agency assessments, scope of work and roster management tools, we’re excited about this initiative to provide UK/EU and global clients with expert, local advice and support.

Scope of Work – now live

Some months ago one of our clients, one of the best known companies in America, asked us to develop a Scope of Work software application because they were reliant on a cumbersome paper & email system.

We provide them with their agency evaluation software and they were aware we work with many major advertisers providing agency management solutions, including agency evaluation and roster management tools.

We agreed to work in collaboration with them to design, build and test a new Scope of Work tool which will feature all the functionality of their existing system, delivered in the software-as-service model (on-demand across the Internet).

We can now offer our clients access to this new Scope of Work application.

This is a great tool to ensure that the work of key suppliers is delivered on-time, on-brief and on-budget.

And because it’s on-demand, managers can easily access key data, update and amend scope of work documentation and share the most current version of any document, quickly and easily with their colleagues and other stakeholders.

An Exciting New Hire – Kristina Jozic

We are very pleased to announce that Kristina Jozic has joined Decideware in Sydney.

Kristina brings a background in Media Software Management and Media Planning/Buying plus well developed software management skills, including user support and training for local and international clients, project management, management of software upgrades, quality assurance support, user requirement documentation, and production of training materials.

Over the past 7 years she worked closely with media agency clients located in Australia and various international territories including the UK, Mexico, Canada, France and Russia.

Her new role in Decideware is to help clients maximize their investment with us by providing advice and assistance to deploy and configure their applications, and to provide ongoing support.

Kristina comes to Decideware with a deep understanding of the advertising & media industry globally and how software applications can make great improvements to productivity in a marketing environment.

The Clinic’s HealthCheck

In partnership with advertising management consultancy and long term client, The Clinic, Decideware has developed a survey tool to enable advertising agencies to benchmark client relationships.

The Clinic HealthCheck has been designed to:-

a) Identify key drivers for agency performance
b) Enable clients to assess their agency against those key drivers
c) Unearth any agency performance issues and facilitate resolution
d) Assist the agency with business planning based on client needs
e)Enable the agency to compare performance with one client, against its other clients and the clients of all participating agencies
f) Assess awareness and image of the top 25 agencies

The unique properties of The Clinic HealthCheck, combined with keen pricing has seen 14 Sydney agencies enroll in the first wave in July ‘09.

Decideware Executive Profile: Liz Geiser

Our US based Client Service Manager, Liz Geiser will be celebrating her first six months with Decideware this September.

Liz has been busy working directly with US/Global clients in the custom design of their Supplier / Agency Evaluation modules and assisting in training users. She is part of the broader support team, helping our US/UK/Global clients complete whatever is needed for the success of their evaluation assignments.

In addition, Liz is currently providing support to expand our US clients’ usage of the new and improved Scope of Work and Capability Manager (supplier roster) modules.

Capability Manager (Agency Roster) Brochure

Over the past few months we’ve invested additional resources to further improve our Capability Manager software tool.

This tool helps marketers understand the capabilities of all the agencies who are, or who want to, work on client accounts.

It particularly suites bigger advertisers who might have a significant agency roster and want to ensure they always have the right agency on the right account.

And because it’s on-demand, agencies can input and update their own profile and thereby reduce the data maintenance costs for clients.

We also developed a new brochure to help explain the features and benefits of Capability Manager.
